Michael Tew, Ph.D., is associate provost and associate vice president for academic programs and services has previously served as Director of the Equality Research Center at Eastern Michigan University and a professor in the School of Communication, Media, and Theatre Arts. His research, teaching, and speaking expertise is in the areas of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community issues and advocacy. Additionally, he teaches and studies political communication and public address. As Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Tew's work focuses on academic programs, advising, and assessment university wide.
