Eastern Michigan University ranked in top 10 in the nation for several degree programs

Clinical research, human resources, various master’s programs highlight a strong showing in higher education resource guide’s rankings of public institution offerings

YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University has been ranked in the top 10 in the nation for multiple degree programs by Intelligent.com, a national resource guide for prospective college and graduate students.

Eastern Michigan University’s Masters in Clinical Research Program was ranked No. 1 in the nation, and two of Eastern’s human resources programs were among the top three in their respective categories. Two education programs, a nutrition program and a graduate program in taxation also made the top 10 in the national listings.

Intelligent.com’s research guide and its rankings are based on an assessment of nearly 2,300 accredited colleges and universities. Each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment, according to the website.

The 2021 rankings were calculated through a special scoring system that includes student engagement, potential return on investment, and leading third-party evaluations. Intelligent.com says it analyzed thousands of schools with comparable programs on a scale of 0 to 100, with Eastern making it to the final list for 15 degree programs.
