YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University will celebrate underrepresented students’ distinct experiences and accomplishments during the Multicultural Graduation Celebration, to be held on Friday, April 20, 2018.

The celebration will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Pease Auditorium, and doors will open to the public at 4 p.m. The following day will feature the EMU Winter Commencement.

All graduates, along with their family and friends, are invited to take part in the Multicultural Graduation Celebration as well as interested students, faculty, and staff.

The event is hosted by the Center for Multicultural Affairs (CMA), housed in the Department of Diversity and Community Involvement (DCI) at the EMU Student Center.

EMU English professor Heather Neff, a widely published author and director of the McNair Scholars Program at Eastern, will deliver the keynote speech.
