YPSILANTI, MI – The EMU Marching Band will have its next Fall Fridays! performance—classic Halloween songs and more—on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020. The free event will be held at the Student Center’s patio at 5 p.m.

After news of a limited MAC football season, the band wanted to find a way to keep performing throughout the semester, and thus the Fall Fridays! performance series was born.

“While the marching band is responsible for supporting our football team, we also are tasked with promoting campus spirit and pride,” marching band director J. Nick Smith said. “We felt it important to continue that tradition.”

Costumes are encouraged at the event, and face coverings and physical distancing are required. “We are thrilled to be able to bring some sense of normalcy to the world with our performances,” Smith said.
