Mark S. Lee interviews Dr. Jean Rowan on EMU Today TV.

YPSILANTI --  The latest episode of EMU Today TV features the University’s Clinical Research Administration graduate program, recently ranked as the top clinical research administration program in Michigan and the third best program in the United States.

In the first segment of the program, Dr. Jean Rowan, program director of the Clinical Research Administration Program, highlighted the success of the program and its development as one of the first academic programs developed in the discipline. She discussed how the rankings speak to the program’s continued leadership and excellence in the field. She also highlighted how graduates move on to key roles at medical research centers, contract research organizations and pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the U.S. and internationally.

The second segment features the University’s Lt. Col. Charles S. Kettles Military and Veteran Services Resource Center, named it in honor of late U.S. Army Lt. Colonel Charles S. Kettles, a Medal of Honor recipient, Eastern Michigan University alumni, and Ypsilanti resident. Thanks to the work of the Center, the University was named, for the fourth consecutive year, as the number one “Military Friendly” university in Michigan. This year the University was number two in the U.S. in the national rankings.

In the segment, Lt. Colonel, U.S. Army (Ret.) Mike Wise, assistant director of Military and Veteran Services at Eastern, described the exceptional support of veteran students and their families at the University.

Now in its fourth season, EMU Today TV features positive programs, events and initiatives at Eastern, and provides opportunities for viewers to learn more from University deans, faculty, students, administrators and alumni about activities at the University.
