EMU to host TRUEMU Night with the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, February 5

YPSILANTI — Show your EMU pride in the heart of Detroit! Eastern Michigan University is heading to Little Caesars Arena on Feb. 5 for TRUEMU Night, an exciting evening where students, faculty, staff, and alumni can come together to support both the EMU community and the Detroit Pistons as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate your EMU pride on a big stage. 

The exclusive EMU ticket package includes:

  • A ticket to Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers.
  • A limited-edition, co-branded Pistons/EMU hoodie—a must-have for any EMU fan
  • A $5 donation to the EMU Student Emergency Fund, supporting students in need.

"TRUEMU nights are a great way for Eastern Michigan students, faculty, staff, and alumni to get together for a fun night of camaraderie and school pride," said Walter Kraft, vice president for communications. "Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with Swoop. Most exciting for many attendees is the limited supply of a limited-edition, co-branded Pistons/Eastern Michigan hoodie that all attendees who purchase tickets through the EMU package will receive at no additional cost. Every ticket includes a $5 donation to the Student Emergency Fund. It's a great night for a great cause!"

The Student Emergency Fund is an assistance program that provides currently enrolled students with financial support for emergency expenses.
