YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University online programs have been ranked among the most elite nationwide by Intelligent.com, a resource for online, on-campus program rankings and higher education planning. The university was also recognized for being among the best in Michigan. Eastern was included in its list of institutions assessed for 2024. 

Intelligent.com employs a comprehensive methodology to assess and rank each program on a scale from zero to 100. Accredited institutions are meticulously evaluated within this scoring system, considering essential factors such as tuition costs, admission processes, retention and graduation rates, faculty expertise, institutional reputation, and the resources available to support online students.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, even in the best of economic times, data show that workers who have higher levels of education typically earn more and have lower rates of unemployment compared with workers who have less education.
