Selyna Pérez Beverly, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at Eastern Michigan University in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program. She was most recently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, working on the National Science Foundation’s INCLUDES Aspire Alliance’s National Change Project, which focuses on promoting inclusive teaching and learning environments in STEM. She received her doctoral degree from the Center for the Study of Higher Education and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research interests include STEM faculty experiences with inclusive teaching practices as well as underrepresented student experiences with instruction in STEM classrooms.
