EMU Today is the heart of news at Eastern. We're proud to present you with a hub for getting the latest news about EMU. Here's a few ways you can help make EMU Today great.
Add an event for the calendar. If you're planning an event and want to get the word out, please fill out our event form. A few tips to remember: please be sure to check the date and time and make sure to choose a mini calendar at the bottom of the form if you have an individual calendar on your site. Once you submit your event, we'll review and approve it. If you need more help, please check out our how-to video below.
Submit an announcement. Use our announcement form when you have something to share that's not necessarily date-driven, (a fundraiser, funeral arrangements, call for nominations, etc.). The audience for announcements is faculty and staff. For a student-focused announcement, contact campus_announcements@emich.edu for posting in my.emich. Keep in mind, you only have 255 characters to describe your event, so make sure to state the basic facts and keep the main information on the website you'll link to. Watch our video on how-to submit an announcement.
Suggest a story idea. Tell us what great and interesting things are happening around you. Were you recently awarded a grant? Working on a groundbreaking new program? We want to hear about it. Email emu_today@emich.edu with your good news.
Aim the spotlight. Know a co-worker who shines? Nominate them to be featured for our Employee Spotlight. Send their name and why you'd like to nominate them at emu_today@emich.edu.
