Michael Wise was an officer in the United States Army for more than 20 years. His specialties in the military included command and leadership, communications, project management, information technology and knowledge management. He retired from the military as a Lt. Colonel after serving as the professor of military science and leadership at Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Wise is an expert in organizational leadership, training, logistics management, project management, knowledge management and performance counseling.  Currently, he is the Assistant Director of Military and Veteran Services at EMU, and primary School Certifying Official for military students, veterans and beneficiaries. In this role, he has developed expertise in the academic and personal challenges of student veterans.
