About

Christina Marsack-Topolewski, PhD, LMSW is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at Eastern Michigan University. She holds a doctorate in Social Work with a dual title in Gerontology from Wayne State University. She obtained a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan where she was an Aging fellow. Dr. Marsack-Topolewski brings over 15 years of professional work in the field of disability where she has worked with individuals with disabilities and older adults with special needs and complex health challenges. She is an expert in caregiving issues and is acutely knowledgeable about the service needs of people with disabilities and their aging caregivers. Her research focuses on the intersection of caregiving, older adults, and populations with disabilities.
