Jeanette Zalba serves as the Director of Housing and Residence Life at Eastern Michigan University. Jeanette is actively involved in the Association of College and University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I) as the Chair of the Professional Standards Institute. She has attended the Chief Housing Officers Institute and the Professional Standards Institute. In addition to serving as a Title IX Deputy, she is on the TRIO and Higher Education Program advisory boards.
Jeanette earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University and Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Science from Northern Michigan University. She has a passion for data driven decision making, assessment, supervision, and academic achievement. Aside from her Student Affairs work, Jeanette is certified facilitator for the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator and has worked on the TEDx Buffalo Steering Committee.
