About

Prior to joining EMU, Professor Koschmann obtained his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University.  He has published a dozen articles in peer-reviewed journals, including leading marketing journals such as Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, and European Journal of Marketing, among others.  In 2019 he received the College of Business Outstanding Research Award, awarded to one faculty member for research productivity. Before entering academia, Professor Koschmann held marketing intelligence roles at NBC Universal, Sears Holdings, and Legacy.com. At EMU he has taught marketing research (for undergrads and MBA students), as well as media strategy, social media strategy, and direct marketing courses in the online IMC program.
