Washtenaw Safety and Security Conference

Eastern Michigan University Women's Resource Center is hosting the Washtenaw County Safety and Security Conference event, which is free and open to the public. This conference will be in the Student Center Grand Ballroom on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Under the direction of Mr. Anthony Morgan, a former Councilman of Ypsilanti, this conference will address individual personal and organizational levels of environmental, community, national, and digital/cyber security. This conference entails having professional speakers who are experts in these fields to equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools to address one's level of safety. This conference will foster awareness, promote proactive measures, and strengthen community collaboration. Prioritizing safety ensures a secure environment where people can thrive without fear and unpreparedness, making this conference vital for community progress.
