WHO: Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business in collaboration with the GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology

WHAT:  EMUiNVENT is a young inventors’ showcase and competition for students in grades 3-12

WHEN: Project demonstrations will be displayed from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. and an awards ceremony will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, March 10

WHERE: GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology, 201 Sill Hall in Ypsilanti

BACKGROUND – Student inventors representing various schools in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti will be able to show off their innovative skills at EMUiNVENT–an annual showcase and competition hosted by Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business. 

Students from grades 3-12 are coached by professors, graduate students, and other community members to find solutions to the problems of their choice. There will be 25 projects displayed of which a small group of these students will showcase their prototypes and answer questions.

According to event organizers, students will leave prepared to solve complex problems and ultimately position themselves to earn high-paying opportunities. Qualifying students will compete in the 2023 Invention Convention Michigan, organized by The Henry Ford.
