Eastern Michigan University Gears Up for STEM Day - March 24

Who: Eastern Michigan University Upward Bound, Gameabove College of Engineering and Technology, students from Ypsilanti Community Schools 

What: STEM Day

When: Friday, March 24. The event begins with opening remarks at 10 a.m. followed by activities at 10:15 a.m.

Where: Gameabove College of Engineering and Technology, 201 Sill Hall, Ypsilanti

Background: To electrify interest in STEM-related careers, Eastern Michigan University Upward Bound and the Gameabove College of Engineering and Technology will host a STEM Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 24. 

The event aims to better connect local students with engineering programs and encourage STEM careers, especially among diverse groups. Students will participate in a series of engineering-themed events, which student engineering clubs lead.
