Suspect in racist vandalism incidents waives preliminary court hearing

YPSILANTI – The suspect charged in connection with the racist vandalism incidents on the Eastern Michigan University campus last year waived his preliminary court hearing today, Thursday, Nov. 30.

The suspect was bound over to circuit court, with his attorney entering a plea of not guilty regarding three counts of malicious destruction of property, four counts of identity theft and one count of using computers to commit a crime.

The suspect's next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 11 in Washtenaw County Trial Court.
