YPSILANTI – 92 percent of recent Eastern Michigan University graduates are employed within a year of graduation, according to a recent survey.
The annual survey, entitled the “EMU New Graduates Employment Status Survey,” began January 13, 2016 and closed on March 4. The survey measured Eastern students who graduated in the year 2015, a total of 4,539 graduates, and had about a 20 percent response rate.
The EMU Office of Institutional Research and Information Management conducted the survey.

In the survey, graduates noted aspects they liked or enjoyed about Eastern. Most frequently mentioned were:
• Faculty, professors and instructors, 20 percent.
• The campus, facilities and friendly environment, 15 percent
• Types of classes or programs, online programs, class flexibility, low tuition and quality of education, 20 percent.
