Center’s final panel event for this semester is April 10

Throughout the academic year, the center offers a variety of panels discussing different realms of the digital world. This spring’s final panel, “Customer Experience in the Age of Digital Assistants” will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 at Spark East, 215 W. Michigan Ave, Ypsilanti.

“The topic sounds kind of far out, but we encounter digital assistants every day in our devices from Google, Amazon, and Apple,” Gibson says. “Among other things, we increasingly rely on digital assistants to get around town, secure reservations, solve customer problems, and generate leads.

“So, how do digital assistants currently impact customer experience? How might digital assistants evolve? How can you use digital assistants in your own marketing and customer service efforts right now?”

The panel, moderated by Gibson, will include Mike Lorenc, from Google; Ansgar Strother, from Movatic; and Martin Smith, from Overflow Marketing.

The event will be catered, so attendees are asked to please register in advance. Check-in is at 3:30 p.m. The program will begin at 4 p.m. and last an hour.
