Eastern Michigan University Engage @ EMU offering free virtual mini camps through Facebook Live

YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University is offering free virtual mini camps for all ages every Monday and Friday through May 18, with additional dates to be announced in the future. Each of the camp sessions will be hosted via Facebook Live at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. EST through the Engage @ EMU Facebook page.

The camps, which will each last about one hour, are being hosted by Engage @ EMU office, EMU’s primary entry way to enhance, navigate and cultivate collaboration and partnerships between the University and business and community entities.

Topics for the camp sessions include ecology and zoology, science, digital design, Dungeons and Dragons, screenwriting, theater, eSports, coding and robotics, and more.

  • Friday, April 24, 7 p.m., Motors in the Motor City
  • Monday, April 27, 7 p.m., Digital Design: The Basics
  • Friday, May 1, 7 p.m., Dungeons & Dragons Part III: Practice Game
  • Monday, May 4, 7 p.m., Screenwriting Crash Course
  • Friday, May 8, 7 p.m., Shakespeare Performance 101
  • Monday, May 11, 7 p.m., How to Nail the Audition
  • Friday, May 15, 7 p.m., eSports
  • Monday, May 18, 2 p.m., Coding and Robotics 101
