US News and World Report logoEastern’s IMC program is the nation's only fully online, AACSB-accredited graduate program. It has sustained its place among the nation’s elite online non-MBA business programs on the U.S. News & World Report list for several years in succession. Students in the program collaborate with professional peers worldwide to master effective marketing strategies.

The IMC program is targeted to individuals who aspire to grow as a marketing or communications professional and who want to take advantage of the flexibility of online learning. The degree can be completed in two years and the graduate certificate in a little over one.

Kenneth Lord, dean of the College of Business at Eastern, credits the program's success to the dedication of the faculty, engagement of a diverse student population, and collective commitment to elevated professional standards. "The College of Business aspires to be recognized as Southeastern Michigan's leader in applied business education, developing outstanding and ethical business professionals with global awareness," said Lord. "Our faculty aims to propel our highly diverse student population to higher levels of professional attainment and societal contribution. It is rewarding to see our outstanding graduate program enjoy year-over-year recognition in the elite U.S. News and World Report rankings."

The U.S. News & World Report ranking accompanies other notable recognitions EMU’s College of Business has received from accreditation and ranking organizations. These include the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), The Princeton Review and Fortune.

U.S. News assessed schools based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies. The ranking associated with the IMC program assessed online master's-level business degree programs that are not MBA programs.
