YPSILANTI — Eastern Michigan University’s Eagle Crest Golf Club has been ranked No. 9 in the Top 25 College Golf Courses by Golf Pass Golfers' Choice 2024. This achievement signifies the facility's commitment to excellence and dedication to providing the total golf experience to students and the public.

Unveiling the Eagle Crest Golf Club Trackman Golf Simulator Bays 

Eastern Michigan University's Roy E. Wilbanks Eagle Crest Resort Golf Clubhouse now features four Trackman Golf Simulator bays, a 2,200-square-foot expansion. Each bay is equipped with three cameras to provide valuable insights into golf techniques, including clubhead speed, ball speed, and spin rate, among others. Golfers can practice, visualize ball flight, and email performance data.

This $2.5 million facility, completed in November 2023, sets a new standard for detailed statistical feedback on golfing performance. Memberships starting at $200 per month offer 60 minutes of daily practice, outdoor range access, and unlimited range balls. The bays offer complete rounds of golf and various games, with beautiful views of the golf course and Ford

Being ranked No. 9 in Golfers' Choice 2024 is a momentous honor for Eagle Crest Golf Club, Eastern Michigan University, the facility's dedicated team, the local community and the Eagle Administrative Services Board of Directors. The University's steady rank climb, moving from No. 25 to No. 13 and now securing a spot in the top 10, reflects its commitment to excellence. With 517 positive reviews in 2023, the facility has garnered widespread acclaim.

Staying and Playing in Style

What sets the Eagle Crest Golf Club apart is its status as a resort-style destination. On-site, guests can stay at the full-service Marriott hotel, conveniently located on the property. The facility also offers stay-and-play packages at the hotel, transforming it into a golfing resort where guests can enjoy a complete experience.

Providing Accessible Tee Times and Engaging with Reviewers

To qualify for the Golfers' Choice 2024 ranking, the facility ensured that public tee times were readily available through its Golfnow tee sheet, which operates from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with 10-minute intervals. Tee times are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and golfers often call two weeks in advance to secure their slots. Golf Outings can be booked 12 months in advance, with food and beverages available in the Lakeview Banquet Facility Room after golf.  Over 200 golfers per day frequently enjoy the course during the summer months.
