YPSILANTI —  The latest episode of Eastern Michigan University’s EMU Today TV highlights three programs that are drawing considerable interest from students:

  • New Learn4ward to Eastern Michigan University transfer partnership with Henry Ford College;
  • the University’s Aviation program; and,
  • the new Master of Science in Management of Innovation and Strategy program.

The first segment of the 30-minute program features Eastern Michigan University President James Smith and Henry Ford College President Russel Kavalhuna highlighting the features of Learn4ward to Eastern Michigan University. The new transfer partnership between the institutions offers HFC students a seamless transfer experience that paves the way for attaining both an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree within four to six years. The program provides a guaranteed transfer pathway to a bachelor's degree. It offers a three-year tuition freeze at HFC and resources at both institutions designed to support student success.

Eastern Michigan University’s Aviation program is highlighted in the next section of the program, featuring a special look at EMU Aviation Day, which took place recently at Willow Run Airport. The Aviation Day program brought high school students from across Southeast Michigan to meet EMU aviation students and flight instructors, and experience learning about and flying an airplane.

The final segment features an in-depth look at Eastern’s new Master of Science in management of innovation and strategy. Sanjib Chowdhury, professor of management and director of center for entrepreneurship, provides insights about the benefits of the new degree program, and how it addresses the need for managers to learn how to adjust and thrive in the ever-changing business environment.
