YPSILANTI — Eastern Michigan University's part-time MBA program has been named among the nation's Best Part-Time MBA Programs by Fortune in its 2024 ranking. The program was one of only two Michigan part-time MBA programs to be recognized by Fortune, and ranked 47th in the U.S., climbing seven spots in the rankings from last year.

“Whether in companies themselves or the MBA programs that prepare students to lead them, the Fortune designation is a hallmark of the highest excellence in the business world,” said Ken Lord, dean of the College of Business. “Once again, being one of only two MBA programs in Michigan to earn this distinction and rising seven points in the prestigious ranking is a tribute to our state-of-the-art curriculum, world-class faculty, and top-flight outcomes.”

According to Fortune, the 2024 list includes institutions that offer top-notch curriculums and access to world-class business school professors. These institutions also have a track record of seeing their alumni climb to the top of the Fortune 500 world.

Eastern’s part-time MBA program is designed for students who need more flexibility. It is tailored for working professionals who want to pursue their degree part-time while remaining employed. The College of Business offers classes in the evenings, online, or in a hybrid format, allowing students to pursue the degree at their own pace.

Eastern Michigan University's MBA programs continue to attract attention. Several MBA specializations have received notable high rankings from national organizations like Entrepreneur magazine, Intelligent.com, The Princeton Review, and U.S. News & World Report.

“I couldn’t be more proud that Fortune has recognized the Eastern MBA as among the very best, not only in Michigan but throughout the United States,” said Lord.
