• MLK Gospel Fest: Pease Auditorium. Doors Open: 2:30 p.m. Performance time: 3 – 6 p.m. (Free Admission). LBC credit approved event.
This multi-generational program will be the host to several EMU and community faith-based ministries who will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s spiritual foundation.

• Movie and Discussion: "The Hate U Give": Student Center Auditorium. Viewing: 1:30 p.m. Free admission. Discussion is 3:45 p.m. in 310A Student Center (immediately following movie), with light refreshments. LBC credit approved event.
Following the movie, all moviegoers are invited to participate in a short facilitated discussion of the issues surrounding the events that occurred in the movie and how it compares and contrasts with events that are happening today around the country.
