YPSILANTI – After graduation, what next?
A group of successful Eastern Michigan University alumni will offer perspective and advice to EMU students during a panel discussion at the Honors College on Wednesday, March 8.
The “Soaring to Success Alumni Panel” discussion will be held in the Honors College Reception Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Alumni from various fields will be on hand for students to ask questions and share stories of the path they took after graduating from college.
Mona Beydoun, a junior in The Honors College who helped organize the event, said that upon leaving students should have a better understanding of what they want to accomplish after college.
“This networking opportunity will allow students to see what their options are, and will help them create a plan of action,” said Beydoun. “The panel will also give students a look into what goals are realistic, allowing them to focus their energy on attainable plans.”
The event, which will include Q&A time, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
