HR.com, the largest global social networking and resource site for HR Professionals, seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the HR function by offering the annual global leadership annual event. Next year’s conference will take place in Salt Lake City.

Three of Eastern Michigan University’s graduate and undergraduate programs in human resources received Top 10 Awards:

• The EMU Masters of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development (MSHROD) was ranked first in the category of  “Master’s Programs with Emphasis in Human Resources.”

• The EMU BBA-Management Major/HR Concentration was also ranked first in, “Diploma Program with Emphasis on HR.”

• The EMU Graduate Certificate in Human Resources was ranked second for “Certificate Programs with Emphasis in Human Resources.”

“Winning the LEAD Awards and being at the top of the rankings is further evidence of the hard work and excellence that our HR/OD faculty provide to our programs at EMU,” said Fraya Wagner-Marsh, director of the MSHROD program and department head of the Management Department. “These awards also show the strong support that we have from our alums and the employers that hire our graduates. The LEAD Awards support our reputation for providing superior education and learning opportunities for the Southeast Michigan HR/OD community.”

The complete list of this year’s award winners will be published in the February edition of Leadership Excellence Essentials epublication.  This year’s award recipients were selected based an application or nomination process, reviewed by HR.com’s  leadership panel, as well as feedback from the program’s participants.
