YPSILANTI – Today (April 21, 2017), in its regularly scheduled meeting, the Eastern Michigan University Board of Regents approved a new academic program, in Data Science and Analytics, along with authorizing the development of a new comprehensive fundraising campaign for the University.
In other Board action during the meeting:
• It was announced that former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade will serve as commencement speaker during Saturday's morning and afternoon ceremonies.
• The Regents approved 2017-18 Faculty Research and Creativity Activity Fellowships.
• The Regents approved 2017-18 Faculty Sabbatical Leave Awards. Also announced were 2017 award winners in the James H. Brickley Endowment for Professional Development and Innovation.
