YPSILANTI – A jury trial date has been set for the suspect charged in connection with the fall 2016 racist vandalism incidents on the Eastern Michigan University campus.
The suspect, Eddie Curlin, has a trial date of 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 7 in Washtenaw County Circuit Court. A final pre-trial hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 23.
Curlin is charged with three counts of malicious destruction of property, four counts of identity theft and one count of using computers to commit a crime. He is currently in custody for an unrelated case involving receiving and stealing stolen property.
