Eastern Michigan University's master in construction management degree program ranked No. 7 in the nation, according to Intelligent.com

YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University’s Master of Science in Construction Management program has been ranked among the best in the nation by Intelligent.com. Eastern placed No. 7 among 40 other colleges around the country. Additionally, the program received the Best Faculty award. 

According to Intelligent.com, the ranking is based on faculty, flexibility, cost, course strength, and reputation. The rankings are based on data from U.S. News & World Report, BestColleges.com, and other pertinent ranking sites. Data is also pulled from the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, the National Center of Education Statistics’ College Navigator, College Board, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The master’s in construction management program is housed in the GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology. The program educates graduate students in construction project management, preparing them to lead and manage major construction programs through the project life cycle, from project conception through facility completion.

Since 1991, EMU’s construction management program has maintained its accreditation with the American Council for Construction Education, one of the agencies that certify the quality and strength of the program. 

With a 100% hire rate, EMU students with construction management degrees are employed by many of the program's local and national partners, including Woods Construction, DeMaria, Ideal Contracting, John E. Green Company, Granger Construction, Spence Brothers, Robertson Homes, National Enclosure Company, Clark Construction, DTE Energy, Barton-Malow, Turner Construction, and Walbridge.
