YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University has reached agreement on a three-year contract with the Eastern Michigan University Federation of Teachers Part-Time Lecturers Bargaining Unit.
The agreement, which covers 448 part-time lecturers at Eastern, runs from Sept. 1, 2020 until August 31, 2023. It was ratified by the bargaining unit on Oct. 13, 2020 and approved by the University’s Board of Regents at its regular meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22.
The agreement provides for no salary increase in 2020-21, a 1 percent raise in 2021-22, and a 2022-23 compensation increase level to be negotiated between June 1, 2022 and July 1 2022.
